Live Beautifully

Yesterday brought lots of new things in my Close to My Heart world. One of these new things is the exclusive Live Beautifully collection. There are so many options I didn’t think I could really do it justice – so I thought I’d link to this video by CTMH.  It shows the paper packet, stamp set, and Cut Above Layout kit.

CTMH Live Beautifully Video

These products are all in celebration of National Scrapbooking Month – but don’t be fooled by the name – these are great for all you papercrafting fun.

The paper packet comes with 16 sheets – 6 of them double sided.

While the stamp set has large, beautiful words that work for layout titles – there is plenty of love here for cardmakers also!

Last – but DEFINITELY not least! – is the Cut Above Layout Kit.  This kit comes with pre-printed pages & photo mats, stickers and die cuts and 12 X 12 Memory Protectors for 5 double page layouts!  You can literally have all 5 double pages completed in 2 hours! These layouts are great for telling your stories of weddings, engagements, prom, family, that inspirational person in your life – so versatile!

No Stamping Required…

Happy Monday (is there such a thing?!)!  Since the CTMH special this month is 25% off the Thin Cuts – I thought I’d show a card that uses Thin Cuts without stamping (don’t worry – I’ll have Thin Cuts with stamping later).

This is a great unisex birthday card as it uses the Dreamin’ Big paper packet that is just great all-around paper.  I used a 1 1/2″ strip of the black tone-on-tone diagonal piece on the bottom to ground everything.  For the top, I used a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4″ piece of the multi-colored dot paper.  This paper includes Goldrush, Glacier, Poppy, Sorbet, Juniper, Slate (and probably a few more) – so it really goes with so many things.

Happy Birthday Thin Cut

I used some Goldrush cardstock from the Dreamin’ Big coordinating cardstock pack (X7218D) and the Happy Birthday thin cuts (Z3304).  I layered these pieces with the backside of the dots which is a glacier pattern on white (it kind of looks like little lines instead of dots).

This is all topped off with some Dreamin’ Big sequins and Whisper Thick Twine for embellishments.  This card can be redone with so many different paper combinations – watch for another one on the card buffet during the Free Craft Night on 31 March!

There you go – Happy Birthday without using any stamps.  I love making life easy!

Enjoy!

Fe – BRRRR-uary!

Is it cold outside where you are?  It’s a chilly 13° as I sit here writing today.  I think February tends to be one of the roughest winter months – we’re ready for Spring – but it’s not quite ready for us yet.  Here in UT – not only is it cold, but we get this thing called the ‘inversion’ – which I think is just a fancy name for SMOG!  Because we have the Wasatch Mountains to the East of us, weather tends to move in from the west & then the cold air from the mountains pushes down on everything & we get this ugly layer of cloud/smog/blah white….  February is not pretty here.  Although on a good day you can go up to one of the ski resorts & it will be absolutely beautiful (because you’re up above that mess & the sun is shining!

See the blue sky up in the mountains – then there’s that blah white nothingness….

To combat those chilly winter blues – I’m ready to play in my Scrap Room!  I’ve got some fun cards & layouts for this month – and I’ll be getting ready for the next few months of classes, as well

While the Hello Lovely paper packet doesn’t scream tropical – at least the flowers & colors are a little warmer than the outside temps.  Check out my Classes Page for dates & times for these projects.

If you’re looking for more supplies than what you’d get with just a class or two – check out the February Constant Campaign.  It’s called ‘Sign Me Up’ and every consultant who signs up in February will receive the February, March & April Stamps of the Month for Free (that’s $53.85 retail – on top of the amazing value you get with the consultant kit)!!!

As a consultant – you get to purchase product at a discount – and – you can join me in June at the CTMH convention – right here in Salt Lake City.  This convention is going to be really exciting because we’re going to get a tour of the Home Office – where all this paper & stamping goodness is created!!!

But Wait – There’s More (I always love to say that!) – Former consultants can sign up for a no kit option for just $50 – get $50 in select product credit AND the 3 free Stamps of the Month!

I became a consultant almost 2 years ago – I was just going to purchase my own supplies at a discount – but here I am – meeting amazing women, getting to know my creative side (which I didn’t think I had!!), and loving life!  If you have any questions – feel free to contact me – I’d love to help you get paid to play with paper!

Enjoy!
